A Day at Work
Booking Managers at GlobalAssist’s local brands like MadaAssist or TanzaniaAssist work in flexible shifts to ensure we’re available to help travelers from early morning to late evening. The day is divided into three shifts, starting as early as 6:00 AM and running until 11:00 PM, often with overlapping hours so that two Booking Managers are online at the same time. All work is done remotely from home using a personal computer and phone. Managers log into our main communication platform, respond.io, to handle incoming WhatsApp messages from clients.
Making Travel Work
Once a traveler gets in touch, Booking Managers chat with them to understand their needs, then reach out to local service providers via phone to collect offers. Using our supplier directory, they find the best-fit services, present the options and prices to the client, and send a payment link. After payment, the Booking Manager confirms the booking, creates a calendar entry, and notifies the supplier. It’s a job that blends problem-solving, communication, and customer service — with a clear goal: helping travelers while driving bookings. Our Booking Managers are freelancers, earning an hourly rate plus attractive commissions, with unlimited phone and internet costs fully covered.
